The Christmas Newsletter - #8

Twas the night before Christmas and Eureka was quiet
Their product all ready for Santa to try it
Where stockings were hung up they all had a plan
To fill each one with a new Fluid Film can
The children were sleeping, in Santa they trust
Dreaming of toys with no corrosion or rust
And Ma in her flannels and I in my socks
Had just finished spraying all our hinges and locks
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter
I grabbed for my shotgun to see what was the matter
I knew I was safe as I loaded a shell
Since I'd used Fluid Film on my shotgun as well
When up on the roof I could hear all this noise
And I laughed as I went to go wake up the boys
We sat at the bottom of the chimney and waited
For Santa to discover the slide we'd created
We'd coated the chimney with Fluid Film spray
From a Sure Shot container we'd purchased that day
It's slicker than slick and it stays where it's put
Through salt air, through water and even through soot
With a scream we could hear old Saint Nick sliding down
He emerged from the chimney with a wet beard and frown
"I should have remembered the Fluid Film crew"
He said as he winked and he bid us adieu
He looked at the clock when he heard its first chime
"With a Fluid Film coat I could make better time"
(Now Santa stocks up at his local John Deere
For a faster delivery, year after year.)
We watched as his sled flew on out of our sight
"To all a good Christmas and to all a good night."
We at Eureka Chemical Company hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season.
