The Perfect Answer to Control Corrosion in Manufacturing

For manufacturing/industrial applications, Fluid Film® can be used in such harsh environments as pulp mills and salt, fertilizer and battery manufacturing plants, as well as help preserve and protect parts during shipping or storage. Fluid Film is an environmentally safer and non-toxic product, helping to eliminate the use of hazardous chemicals in a closed environment. Fluid Film will stop rust on table saws and lubricate hydraulic cylinders and pneumatic tools, as well as extend maintenance schedules due to its long lasting lubricating qualities. Fluid Film works best where other products don’t work well or won’t work at all.

“We lubricated elevator door components such as tracks, hangers, spring closers, clutch roller assemblies and linkages…we discovered that 3 months later everything was still lubricated…One mechanic nick-named Fluid Film as “Wonder Lube.”…we are very satisfied with the Fluid Film and would like to commend your company for providing a superior product. We are finding more uses for it every day including Company vehicles, tools and equipment.” - Steven J. Villano, Gotham Elevator, Inc.

  • Battery Connections:
Fluid Film® is non-conductive, so clean around the battery terminals, make your connections, and then spray lightly with Fluid Film. The non-drying characteristics of Fluid Film will provide long term protection in this application. Fluid Film also keeps battery hold downs from corroding.

  • Chains:
When it comes to chain lubrication, Fluid FilmŪ is an excellent choice for a variety of reasons. Most chains fail due to wear and corrosion inside the pin and bushing area. Fluid Film, with its lanolin base, migrates and penetrates to the inside of the chain, preventing wear and providing extended lubrication. Fluid Film also displaces any trapped water, leaving a barrier of protection. Containing sufficient body, it resists fly off and water wash off. In dusty environments, Fluid Film resists dirt buildup due to its slick, non-tacky consistency. It holds up under a high degree of temperatures, will resist the high moisture present in certain manufacturing plants and, because it won't freeze, will prevent chain jam ups due to water frozen in chain links. Fluid Film was documented as having extended locomotive drive chains in salt harvesting machinery by up to 300%.
